食品サンプル製作コンクール
技術の向上、開発を目的に1968年（昭和43年）に始まって以来、50年以上にわたり続く株式会社岩崎の社内製作コンクールです。普段は飲食店のオーダーに忠実なものづくりを目指している職人が、唯一「つくりたいものをつくる」ことを許される場として、自由な発想のもと持てる技術と経験のすべてを注ぎ込み、本物と区別のつかない超リアルな作品や、遊び心やユーモアにあふれる作品など、毎回数々の名作を生み出してきました。長年にわたるその活動は多くの新技術や新しい表現方法の発見、新商品の開発へとつながっています。

Replica Foods Fashioning Technique Contest
This internal competition of craftsmanship among the employees has been held by Iwasaki Bei (Iwasaki Co. Ltd.) every year during the last 50 years since its launch in 1968, for the purpose of developing the skill of manufacturing replica foods. Although craftsmen usually have to make the replica foods precisely according to the order of the client restaurants, they are allowed to create what they want to make freely only in this event. They have created numerous masterpieces such as super-real fakes which are indistinguishable from the actual foods or the works with lots of playfulness and humors. These activities continued for years have contributed to the new technology, arts of expression, and development of new products.
